Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin signed six Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), securing over Rs 820 crore in investments. 

The agreements are with companies like Wilson Power, which will invest Rs 300 crore in an electric transformer plant, and Britannia RFID Technologies, which will invest Rs 520 crore in a high-capacity RFID tag manufacturing unit. 

The other MoUs were with Lloyd's List Intelligence for a Global Capability Centre, Rolls-Royce, and educational institutions like the University of Exeter and Ecole Intuit Lab. 

These strategic agreements are aimed at leveraging the India–UK Free Trade Agreement to boost growth across various sectors, including renewable energy, textiles, and technology.
