Solar manufacturing firm Solarium has commissioned a 1 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad.

The plant will produce photovoltaic modules for domestic and international markets.

Officials said the facility strengthens India’s solar manufacturing capabilities and reduces reliance on imports.

The unit is equipped with modern production lines to meet growing demand for solar energy equipment.

The commissioning supports expansion of the domestic renewable energy ecosystem.
