SJVN Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, has successfully completed the trial run of its 241.77 MW capacity under Phase I of the 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project.

The commercial operation date for this capacity is set for 02 April, 2025, while the full 1,000 MW project is expected to be commissioned by 30 September, 2025.

In March, SJVN signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chhattisgarh government to develop an 1,800 MW pumped storage project in Kotpali, with an investment of Rs 9,500 crore. 

Once fully operational, the project will supply solar energy to Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttarakhand
