Safexpress has opened its new, very modern Logistics Park in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

It is located in a good spot on National Highway-16 (Chennai Kolkata), in Savaragudem, Gannavaram Mandal, District Krishna, Vijayawada. Opening this facility is a big step in making the logistics services in the area better. Important people from Safexpress were at the opening event.

The Vijayawada facility covers a large area of 3.5 lakh square feet. It has modern features for moving goods between different transport modes (transhipment) and managing storage and distribution for other businesses (3PL). It is designed to support the increasing need for storage and distribution for businesses in the area. This will help supply chains connect faster and more smoothly. The way it is set up allows more than 100 vehicles to load and unload at the same time. Large roofs (cantilever sheds) that are 16 feet wide protect loading and unloading from the weather. The inside space is more than 80 feet wide with no columns, allowing goods to move easily.

Vijayawada is the second largest city and a main business center in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is known for many businesses including textiles, food processing, making automobile bodies, and medicines.
