Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has invited bids for a Rs 377.8 crore civil tender for the construction of a viaduct and an elevated metro station on Kolkata Metro's Purple Line. 

The project, which is part of the Joka Diamond Park (Phase-I) project, has a contract duration of 30 months. 

The scope of work includes constructing a 1,370.825-meter viaduct and the IIM elevated station. 

This infrastructure development is a crucial step in extending the city's metro network, enhancing connectivity and easing traffic congestion.
