ROHL inks Regenta resort tropical village in Mysore

Automotive Industries  -  Jun 13,2025  -

Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd (ROHL) has announced they've signed a deal for a new Regenta Resort Tropical Village in Mysore, Karnataka.

This resort will operate as a franchise, which is part of ROHL's strategy to own fewer physical assets. It will offer a unique stay experience, drawing inspiration from the culture and village life of seven continents.

The resort will have 35 themed cottages, each designed to show the style, customs, and food of a different continent.
It will also include Mangala Kutira, a special building with 12 rooms based on India’s Pancha Bhootas (five elements) and Pancha Tattva (five principles), offering a cultural and spiritual experience rooted in Indian traditions.

Arjun Baljee, President of Royal Orchid Hotels, said, "Mysore has become a popular place for both local and international travelers because of its pleasant weather, cultural history, growing IT and manufacturing industries, and its closeness to Bangalore and other popular getaway spots like Coorg, Kabini, Wayanad, and Bandipur. While the city has always been important to us because it has some of our well-known properties, we wanted to offer something new and exciting for our guests. A big part of our focus is on health, cultural richness, and being environmentally friendly, which shows our overall goal for a more thoughtful and responsible approach to hospitality. This new signing proves that vision. The new experience-based resort truly shows our dedication to giving our guests a complete and enriching experience, and we are sure it will be a game changer and leave lasting memories. We're excited to work with Mahesh, the owner of Tropical Village, to bring this concept-driven hospitality experience to life."
