Roca India plans expansion with Rs 400 crore investment

Roca Group would invest Rs 400 crore in Tamil Nadu towards process automation, capacity expansion and upgradation of its Global Technical Centre.

The company made this announcement during interaction with State Chief Minister MK Stalin and the visiting delegates at the investment conclave in Madrid, Spaind on 30 January, 2024.

As per the plan, the investment is being made in the facility at Perundurai toward process automation of plastics and sanitaryware and capacity expansion of pipes and fittings. It would also include upgradation of Global Technical Centre in Sriperumbudur. These investments are expected to be completed by the year-end.

Roca India has committed to invest further in process automation for exporting products to Europe and Australia. Besides, it would continue to modernise the units to produce products to meet the consumer demand.

Roca Bathroom Products (Roca India) sells product under the brand name Laufen, Roca, Parryware and Johnson Pedder. It has nine factories, of which four are in Tamil Nadu - Ranipet, Perundurai, Sriperumbudur and Irungattukottai.
