Remsons Industries has inaugurated a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, dedicated to locomotive applications.

The facility was inaugurated Chairman and Managing Director Krishna Kejriwal, along with company executives and industry partners.

The new plant spans 30,000 sq. ft. and reflects Remsons’ strategic expansion into the rail sector, offering advanced, reliable, and sustainable solutions for both domestic and international markets. 

The new unit will cater to freight and passenger rail segments, aiming to enhance the performance, safety, and reliability of locomotive systems.  It is equipped with precision engineering tools, CNC machining systems, sheet metal fabrication and welding capabilities, along with an in-house testing and validation laboratory to ensure compliance with railway standards.

A dedicated workforce training centre ensures skill development aligned with high-quality production standards. Remsons, headquartered in Mumbai, has over 50 years of legacy in supplying OEM components to a range of vehicles. With existing facilities in India and the UK, the company continues to reinforce its global footprint with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
