Reliance Indusries Limited (RIL) is advancing its mega renewable-energy project in Gujarat’s Kutch district, with plans to commence solar power generation in the first half of FY27.

Spanning nearly 550,000 acres, the project will serve as one of the world’s largest integrated clean-energy manufacturing ecosystems, encompassing solar PV module production, battery storage, and green hydrogen and ammonia facilities. 

It will also include plants for methanol and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

This massive investment aligns with RIL’s strategy to transition toward new-energy solutions and reduce its carbon footprint, while positioning Gujarat as a major global clean-energy hub.
