Indian Railways has approved a Rs. 4,100 crore suburban rail project linking Bengaluru city with the airport.

The project will connect key suburban nodes to Kempegowda International Airport.

It has been cleared with a completion target of 2030.

The link is part of Bengaluru’s suburban rail network.

The project will be implemented in coordination with state agencies.
