Pudumjee Paper Products is moving forward with its strategic expansion at the Mahad facility and is on the brink of launching a new solar power project.

The company is currently in discussions with international machinery suppliers to finalize configurations for its proposed expansion.

In a move to increase its green energy footprint and reduce energy costs, Pudumjee Paper's 15.4 MW solar power project in Maharashtra is set to become operational by the middle of the financial year. 

The project is expected to cover approximately 50% of the company's current energy requirements. 

The expansion and the new solar project will further strengthen Pudumjee Paper's position as a key player in the production of eco-friendly, biodegradable, and compostable specialty papers.
