Optiemus Infracom's subsidiary, Optiemus Electronics (OEL) has teamed up with OnePlus to make smart home devices (IoT devices) in India. These devices will be premium quality.

This partnership, mentioned in a company filing, supports OnePlus' long-term plans for India and fits with their recent "Project Starlight," which aims to increase local manufacturing. OnePlus is now making its IoT products, not just smartphones, at OEL's factory in Noida.

OnePlus' main IoT products include wireless earbuds (TWS) and wireless neckbands. These are designed to offer OnePlus' famous high performance across different price points, serving various Indian customers.

As a key manufacturing partner, OEL will help OnePlus by using more locally sourced parts, reducing costs, and making their supply chain stronger. They've already started by locally producing the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3, a popular neckband known for its super-low delay, deep bass, clear sound, and stylish yet comfortable design.

Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India, said that India has always been very important to OnePlus. He added that the partnership with OEL to make IoT products locally shows their strong commitment to Project Starlight. He believes this teamwork isn't just about technology, but also about helping local communities, creating meaningful new ideas, and bringing smarter, more connected experiences to their Indian customers.

Ashok Gupta, Executive Chairman of Optiemus Group, stated that their goal is to become the most trusted and valued electronics maker. He sees the partnership with OnePlus as a big step in this direction, as they work together to create a future built on new ideas and excellence.
