The Odisha government has approved a Rs. 300 crore drone manufacturing project proposed by IG Defence.

The facility will focus on production of unmanned aerial systems for defence and surveillance applications.

The project is planned to be set up in an industrial zone in the state. It will include manufacturing, assembly, and testing infrastructure.

The approval enables the company to proceed with land allotment and statutory clearances.
