The Odisha government unveiled a multi-crore development package for Keonjhar, spanning industrial parks, road upgrades, tourism infrastructure and civic amenities.

The announcement is part of a strategy to unlock the district’s mineral-linked economic potential and support new investments. 

Authorities say improved connectivity will help attract steel, logistics and engineering companies to the region. 

As the plan rolls out, the government expects employment gains and stronger upstream supply chains for MSMEs and contractors.
