NTPC Green Energy Limited signed an MoU with Japan’s ENEOS Corporation to collaborate on renewable energy development and energy transition projects. 

The partnership aims to explore joint investments across solar and low-carbon technologies, leveraging ENEOS’ global expertise in project execution, financing, and technology.

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of India’s largest power utility NTPC Limited, has been expanding its renewable portfolio to reduce carbon intensity. 

Collaborations with international players like ENEOS help accelerate technology transfer, mobilize financing, and support India’s energy transition ambitions. 

The MoU also aligns with government initiatives to attract foreign expertise in green energy development.
