NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) has announced the start of commercial operations for a 25 MW solar project in Gujarat. 

This new capacity is part of a larger 150 MW solar project and contributes to the company's total installed capacity of over 7.2 GW. 

This move is aligned with India's ambitious goal of expanding its renewable energy capacity. 

The project will feed green power into the grid, helping to reduce the country's carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable energy mix.
