NTPC adds 165 MW solar capacity at Khavda project in Gujarat

NTPC Limited has added 165 MW of solar capacity at its Khavda renewable energy project in Gujarat.

With this addition, the total installed capacity at the site has reached 972.7 MW.

Khavda is emerging as one of India’s largest renewable energy hubs with significant solar and wind installations.

The expansion contributes to NTPC’s target of increasing its renewable energy portfolio. Further capacity additions are planned in phases at the site.
