North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) has floated tender for Package-I, encompassing the civil and hydro-mechanical works of diversion tunnels associated with the Tato-II Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Arunachal Pradesh.

The deadline for bid submission is set for 10 June, 2025.
The scope of work under this package includes the construction and hydro-mechanical installation for the diversion tunnels, which are vital to channelising river flow during the dam’s construction and eventual operation. 

The contract is valued at Rs 192.51 crore and is expected to be completed within 18 months from the date of commencement. With an installed capacity of 700 MW, the Tato-II HEP is a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at boosting power generation capacity in the Northeast region.
