Navin Fluorine International has teamed up with The Chemours Company to manufacture Opteon at a new facility in Surat, Gujarat.

This collaboration marks a significant step in advancing liquid cooling technologies which cater to the rising thermal management needs of modern data centres and AI infrastructure. 

The Opteon product is designed to deliver enhanced energy efficiency, reduce water consumption, and lower the physical footprint of data centres. 

These features align with the increasing demand for sustainable and high-performance cooling solutions in the digital age.

The Surat-based facility will be tasked with the initial production capacity for Opteon and is projected to begin operations in the first quarter of FY27, spanning April to June 2026. 

The total capital expenditure for establishing this manufacturing facility is estimated at USD 14 million (approx. Rs 120 crore).
