Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon lay the foundation stone for the country’s first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. 

Spread across 1,500 acres, the park will integrate the entire textile value chain from fibre to finished garments, backed by state-of-the-art infrastructure and plug-and-play facilities. 

It is expected to attract investments worth over Rs 10,000 crore and create over one lakh direct and indirect jobs. 

The PM MITRA scheme aims to make India a global leader in textiles by fostering large-scale integrated manufacturing clusters that enhance export competitiveness.
