The Maharashtra Cabinet has given the green light to 325 pending industrial proposals from the industries department. 

These proposals are projected to attract investments exceeding Rs 1 lakh crore and are expected to create over 93,000 job opportunities.

An official statement indicated that these proposals were pending approval due to the expiration of several existing industrial policies. 

The approved proposals include 313 under the Maharashtra Electronics Policy, 2016, with a potential investment of Rs 42,925.96 crore and the capacity to generate 43,242 jobs. 

Additionally, there are 10 proposals under the Space & Defence Manufacturing Policy, 2018, with an investment potential of Rs 56,730 crore and the creation of 15,075 jobs. 

Two proposals related to the Ready-made Garments, Gems & Jewellery, Microelectronics & Engineering Cluster Policy also received approval, representing an investment opportunity of Rs 1,000 crore and the potential to create 35,000 jobs.
