Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has announced that as part of integrating the city's illustrious history into its modern planning, gates dedicated to Raja Bhoj and Emperor Vikramaditya will be constructed on the roads leading to Bhojpur and Ujjain, respectively. The Bhoomi Pujan for both gates will take place soon.

The Chief Minister further directed that Bhopal@2047 planning should focus on representing the diverse regions of Madhya Pradesh within the city. 

He instructed officials to prepare an action plan for transforming Bhopal into a metropolitan area, starting with the expansion of a transport network that will connect the Agra-Mumbai Road in the west with Vidisha, Raisen, and Sehore.

The Chief Minister also praised the removal of the BRTS corridor, acknowledging that the decision has contributed to a reduction in road accidents. 

He noted that Bhopal's development has gained momentum, particularly following the Global Investors Summit, which has firmly established the city as a hub for industry and trade. He highlighted growth in sectors like education, healthcare, tourism, and industry.
