KPI Green Energy Limited has executed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) for development of battery energy storage projects with a capacity of 445 MW / 890 MWh.

The projects will supply energy storage services to support grid stability and renewable energy integration.

Company officials said the initiative reflects growing demand for energy storage solutions in India’s evolving power system.

The battery storage systems will help manage peak demand and improve grid reliability.

Implementation will proceed following project approvals and infrastructure development
