KLA Corporation has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to invest Rs. 3,600 crore in a global research and development campus.

The proposed facility will focus on semiconductor equipment innovation and engineering.

The campus is expected to generate high-skilled employment opportunities. The investment reinforces Tamil Nadu’s push to build a semiconductor ecosystem.

The project will be implemented in phases following statutory approvals.
