The Kerala government has announced plans to construct India’s first dedicated organ transplant centre with an investment of Rs. 398 crore.

The facility will provide specialised infrastructure for organ transplantation and post-operative care.

It is planned as a standalone centre with advanced medical facilities

The project aims to strengthen tertiary healthcare infrastructure in the state. Construction will commence following administrative and technical approvals.
