KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 1,034 crore across multiple business segments which includes its first entry into the semiconductor segment through its civil business division.

The new orders include a STATCOM project from a global OEM in India and supply contracts for towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas through its transmission & distribution division. 

The civil business secured a contract to establish a semiconductor plant for a prominent private player in India and an upstream project for a leading steel company. The cables division received orders for supplying various types of cables across India.

Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International,said that securing the semiconductor sector contract marks a significant achievement for the civil business while obtaining the first-ever STATCOM segment order represents a strategic advancement in the company’s substation value chain.
