The Karnataka Department of Handloom & Textiles has officially invited bids for the development of a world-class integrated textile park in Raichur. 

The project, to be developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, offers a 30-year concession period for the selected master developer.

The park will be equipped with common infrastructure, including a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), 40-ft container-ready roads, and advanced warehousing. 

By integrating spinning, weaving, and garmenting units in a single hub, the state aims to drive industrial growth in North Karnataka, away from the saturated Bengaluru corridor, and tap into the rising global demand for textile exports. 

The deadline for bid submissions is January 16, 2026.
