The Karnataka government has given its approval for a Rs 1,622 crore investment by the Reliance Group to establish a stateoftheart cold beverages bottling facility under the Campa Cola brand in Vijayapura district.

Spanning 100 acres in the Mulawada Industrial Area (Phase 2), the project is expected to generate approximately 1,200 direct jobs and contribute significantly to the region’s industrial base.

Large & Medium Industries Minister M. B. Patil confirmed the goahead during an investment review meeting in Bengaluru, highlighting the broader momentum of Rs 17,000 crore in proposals for Vijayapura across diverse sectors.

Once operational, the facility will fortify Reliance’s beverage footprint, catering to South and Western markets and reinforcing its consumer goods expansion strategy.
