Karnataka has awarded a 250 MWac solar-plus-battery energy storage project to Pace Digitek at a tariff of Rs. 5.51 per unit.

The project combines solar generation with integrated battery storage. It will supply firm power to the state grid.

The award was finalised through a competitive bidding process.

The project will be developed as per stipulated commissioning timelines.
