JK Lakshmi Cement will invest Rs. 1,816 crore to expand its clinker and grinding capacity in Chhattisgarh. 

The project includes a 2.31 MTPA clinker unit and a 1.2 MTPA grinding facility aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in central and eastern markets. 

This expansion comes amid rising demand for cement driven by infrastructure and housing development. 

The company also plans to integrate more efficient energy systems into the upgraded plant. 

The expansion will improve supply reliability across fast-growing construction corridors.
