Insolation Energy plans to begin production from its 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility from September 2026.

The plant will produce solar cells to support module manufacturing and renewable energy projects.

Officials said the facility will strengthen domestic manufacturing and reduce import dependence.

The project forms part of India’s efforts to build an integrated solar value chain.

Production will ramp up in phases after commissioning.
