Environment  -  May 05,2025  -

INOX Air Products Limited has started operating a new plant that separates air. This plant can process 1,000 metric tons of air per day (TPD). It is located at Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel Limited's (AMNS) steel factory in Hazira, in the state of Gujarat in western India. A company statement shared this news.

The statement said the new plant will provide oxygen, nitrogen, and argon directly to AMNS Hazira. This will be done through a long-term agreement to supply gases at the factory site.

The plant that separates 1,000 metric tons of air per day uses modern technology. This technology helps make sure the plant is very reliable, works efficiently, and causes very little harm to the environment.

The plant is expected to greatly help the steel company operate more efficiently and meet its goals for being more sustainable. It will also make more liquid gases available for other businesses in western India
