India’s first port-based 5 MW green hydrogen plant is set to be developed at Kandla port in Gujarat.

The project will be implemented by Deendayal Port Authority as part of its clean energy initiatives.

The plant will produce green hydrogen using renewable energy sources.

The hydrogen produced is expected to support port operations and allied industrial use.

The project marks an early step in integrating green hydrogen into port infrastructure.
