IHCL announces fifth hotel in Indore, with signing of Vivanta property

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Marked as ‘Vivanta,’ this brownfield project will include 180 keys and occupy 2.3 hectares of land.

Located in close proximity to the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport and the central business district, Vivanta Indore promises convenience. The hotel features an all-day restaurant, a rooftop restaurant and a bar, along with recreational facilities such as a swimming pool and a fitness center. In addition, it will offer a spacious banquet space of more than 10,000 m² suitable for both social and business events.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCLemphasized that this signing is in line with IHCL’s vision to expand its presence in key commercial cities. Indore, the financial center of Madhya Pradesh, is strategically positioned near major industrial centers and pilgrimage sites.

With this venture, the company aims to explore new micro markets in the city. IHCL is happy to collaborate Amaltas Palace Private Limited for this hotel project.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL has a total of 12 hotels in Madhya Pradesh, including 4 hotels currently under development.
