Hindustan Power has won a 425 MW solar project from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) through a competitive e-reverse auction.
The letter of award (LoA) was issued by UPPCL, and a power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed, ensuring the procurement of power at a fixed tariff for 25 years. The contract is expected to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of the PPA signing.

Commenting on the development, Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power, said, "With this win, the company will contribute to Uttar Pradesh's growing demand for sustainable energy solutions."

Hindustan Power aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio to five GW by 2028, reinforcing its commitment to clean energy growth in India.
