Henkel Adhesive Technologies is expanding its manufacturing facility at the Kurkumbh Industrial Area near Pune. 

The expansion, completed in Phase III of the site's development, includes a new Loctite plant. 

The new plant will feature an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) and will leverage Industry 4.0 technology to optimize production efficiency. 

This move is aimed at meeting the increasing demand for adhesives, sealants, and surface treatment products in the Indian market, particularly for the automotive components, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sectors. 

Henkel's decision reinforces its commitment to strengthening its local manufacturing presence in India.
