Hariom Pipe signs Rs 3,135 crore MoU with Maharashtra government

Metallurgical Industries  -  Sep 22,2025  -

This MoU represents a significant expansion for Hariom Pipe Industries and underscores Maharashtra's efforts to attract large-scale manufacturing to the state.

The new integrated steel plant in the Vidarbha region, specifically in Gadchiroli, will not only boost the company's production capacity but also bring industrial development to a less-developed area of the state.

The agreement includes a commitment from the government to provide fiscal incentives and facilitate necessary approvals, which is a key part of its strategy to support balanced industrial growth across all regions.

The proposed project entails an investment of Rs 3,135 crore. The state government will provide fiscal incentives and assist in securing necessary approvals, registrations, and clearances under existing policies.

The MoU does not involve any shareholding, related-party transactions, or issuance of shares. HPIL confirmed it is strictly for the proposed plant, with no special rights granted to the state.
