Haier Appliances India has announced plans to invest Rs. 3,500 crore in a new manufacturing facility as part of its long-term expansion roadmap. 

The proposed unit will significantly enhance domestic production capacity across key appliance categories. 

The investment supports deeper localisation, reduced import dependence, and supply-chain efficiency. 

It also aligns with the government’s push for manufacturing-led growth under the Make in India framework. 

The expansion is expected to strengthen Haier’s competitive positioning in India’s fast-growing consumer durables market.
