The Public Works Department Goa has submitted road infrastructure proposals worth over Rs.7,000 crore to the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

The projects cover highway widening, bypass construction, and capacity augmentation to improve regional connectivity.

If approved, the investments are expected to boost tourism-linked mobility and logistics efficiency. 

The proposal signals Goa’s push to modernise transport infrastructure amid rising vehicular traffic.
