Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha (GIDCOL) has floated a tender for establishing a 10 MW AC solar plant near Chiplima Power House, Sambalpur district, on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.

The scope of the work includes design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction, commissioning and comprehensive operation and maintenance for ten years of ground mounted and grid-connected solar photovoltaic power plant of 10 MW at Rengalipali, Satijorea and Chiplima villages.

The scope of work also includes design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 33 kV AC (three phase) network for evacuation of generated power in to the DISCOM network.

The period for completion will be nine months from the zero date of the project. The last date for submission of bids is 2 July, 2025.
