Manufacturer of cryogenic equipment Cryolor has unveiled Phase II of its plant in Tamil Nadu, with French Ambassador Thierry Mathou gracing the inauguration ceremony.

This expansion marks a strategic move to bolster the production of cryogenic liquefied gas tanks, catering to rising demand.

Located in Madurantakam, the facility is a key player in Cryolor’s Asia-Pacific operations, boasting a workforce of over 150 skilled professionals. With an annual output of 400 tanks, the plant serves both domestic and global markets.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Cryolor demonstrated its commitment to societal well-being by swiftly ramping up the production of oxygen tanks. Notably, the company provided essential oxygen tanks to various regions across India, including installing a free-of-charge oxygen delivery system at the Government Hospital in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials from Cryolor and the Consul General of France in Puducherry and Chennai, Lise Talbot Barre, underlining the significance of this collaboration between France and India in the realm of advanced manufacturing.
