Flender has inaugurated an advanced wind gearbox testing facility with a capacity of 135 MW in Tamil Nadu.

The facility is designed to test large wind turbine gearboxes under simulated operating conditions to ensure performance and reliability.

Company officials said the installation will support the development of next-generation wind turbine components used in large renewable energy projects.

The facility strengthens India’s manufacturing ecosystem for wind energy equipment.

It will also support research, validation, and quality assurance for wind turbine gear systems used in domestic and export markets.
