Flender has commissioned India’s largest test rig for wind turbine gearboxes at its manufacturing facility.

The advanced testing infrastructure is designed to evaluate gearbox performance under simulated operating conditions.

Company officials said the facility will enhance reliability testing and product development for wind energy components.

The installation supports India’s growing wind energy manufacturing ecosystem.

The test rig will also enable testing of large-capacity turbine gearboxes used in modern wind projects.
