Essar Future Energy Limited has signed an MoU with the Gujarat government to invest Rs. 5,100 crore in a biofuel project announced at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Rajkot. 

The proposed investment aligns with India’s national bioenergy and energy transition goals. 

The project is expected to focus on sustainable fuel production to reduce dependence on fossil fuel imports. 

It is likely to generate substantial employment opportunities during both construction and operational phases. 

Gujarat continues to attract large-scale clean energy investments due to its policy support and infrastructure readiness.
