Epiroc AB, a global leader in the mining and construction industries, has announced a new manufacturing and research and development facility in Gonde, near Nashik. 

With an investment of Rs 350 crore, the new unit will be built on a 42-acre site and is designed to produce and innovate equipment for mining and construction customers. 

The facility will feature a production building, an R&D lab, offices, and an outdoor test track. 

Expected to be operational by December 2026, the new unit is part of Epiroc's commitment to strengthening its presence in the Indian market and will create approximately 200 new direct jobs in the region.
