Delhi Government clears Rs 5,532 crore electronics manufacturing projects

Manufacturing  -  Oct 29,2025  -

In a major boost to India’s electronics manufacturing sector, the Delhi Government has cleared seven new projects worth a cumulative investment of Rs 5,532 crore under the Electronics Components and Semiconductor Scheme.

These projects are part of India’s larger strategy to build a robust domestic manufacturing ecosystem for electronic components, reduce import dependency, and strengthen the “Make in India” initiative.

The approved projects are expected to generate substantial employment opportunities while enhancing Delhi’s position as an emerging hub for electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.

This development reflects the government’s intent to attract private investments in high-tech manufacturing sectors through policy support, incentives, and infrastructure improvements.

Once operational, these projects are expected to accelerate India’s progress toward becoming a global player in the electronics value chain.
