Deendayal Port Authority to begin site work for 150 TPD e-methanol plant

Deendayal Port Authority will initiate site work for India’s first 150 tonnes-per-day e-methanol plant.

The facility will be developed within port premises. The project aims to produce green methanol using renewable energy sources.

It supports low-carbon maritime fuel initiatives. Construction activities will commence following preparatory groundwork.

The plant is part of India’s alternative fuel development roadmap.
