DCM Shriram Limited has approved an investment of Rs. 87 crore to develop a 9.84 MW renewable energy project in Gujarat.

The project will support the company’s captive power requirements using clean energy sources. Officials said the initiative will help reduce energy costs and carbon emissions.

The renewable capacity will be integrated with existing manufacturing operations.

Implementation will proceed after necessary approvals and infrastructure development.
