Logistics technology company Cargo Matters has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Andhra Pradesh government to develop a Rs. 100 crore electric freight hub in the state.

The facility will support deployment of electric vehicles in freight transport and logistics operations.

Officials said the project will include charging infrastructure and fleet management facilities for electric trucks.

The hub is expected to promote sustainable logistics and reduce emissions from freight movement.

Implementation will proceed after finalisation of project details and approvals.
