The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has floated a tender to select a developer for a 110 MW solar photovoltaic power project in the state. 

The project will be executed under a build-own-operate model, with the developer responsible for land acquisition, engineering, procurement, and construction, as well as operations and maintenance for a 25-year term. 

This initiative aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s Solar Energy Policy 2022, which targets 22 GW of solar capacity by 2030. 

The chosen developer will supply power to the state grid at tariffs discovered through competitive bidding, supporting both renewable energy expansion and grid decarbonisation.
